Photo On

Photo On

Clean up, sort, show and send your iPhone photos. Everything stays on your iPhone.

Coming soon on the App Store

Photo On is a free photo app for iPhone. It finds duplicates, similar shots, screenshots, blurry pictures and large videos, lets you sort your library with one swipe per photo, keeps real albums in Apple's Photos app, shows a single album to other people without handing over your whole library, and sends photos to AirDrop, WhatsApp and other apps, Google Drive, iCloud Drive or any Android phone and Windows PC through the browser. No account, no upload, no ads.

When Photo On helps

What Photo On can do

Clean up with swipes

One swipe per photo: left to the trash, right keeps, up files it into an album. Nothing is deleted until you empty the trash and confirm.

Finds what costs space

Duplicates, similar photos, screenshots, blurry or dark pictures and large videos, found on the iPhone itself. Similar shots are grouped, so you keep the best one and let the rest go.

Small runs instead of one big session

A run is about 100 photos or three minutes. Photo On can remind you when the next one is ready, counts your days in a row, and its Home Screen widgets show free space and what is still unchecked.

Real albums and folders

Albums and folders you create are Apple's own albums; they show up in the Photos app and in iCloud just the same. The “Unsorted” filter shows only photos that are in no album yet.

A Photos tab that stays fast

Grouped by month and day, months can be collapsed, date search from–to, photos or videos only, and selecting many photos by dragging a finger, as in Apple's Photos app.

Show mode

Hand your iPhone over and only this album or selection is visible. Nobody swipes into the rest; show mode ends only with Face ID or your passcode.

Send to anyone

AirDrop, WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Mail and every app that can share; Google Drive or iCloud Drive as a folder with all photos; Android phones and Windows PCs through their browser, no app needed on the other side.

Look things up

Live Text and Visual Look Up work right in the viewer. “Search the web” sends a photo to Google Lens, only after you confirm.

Send photos to anyone, without a cloud of ours in between

Sending is one tap. The format follows the destination: Apple devices get the originals, everything else gets JPEG and MP4 that open everywhere.

AirDrop

iPhone, iPad and Mac nearby. Lands straight in Photos.

Apps and messengers

WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Mail and every app that can share.

Google Drive

Straight into your Drive as a folder with all the photos. Sign in once with your Google account; Photo On only ever sees the files it created itself.

iCloud Drive

Straight into your iCloud Drive, folder “Photo On”, with all the photos.

Android, Windows, others

Your iPhone opens a pick-up page in the local Wi‑Fi. The other device scans the code or types the short address into any browser and downloads the photos directly from the iPhone. No Wi‑Fi around? Your Personal Hotspot works too. Nothing goes through the internet.

How it works

Open

Photo On reads your library once and shows it neatly by month and day. Nothing is uploaded.

Swipe

Start a run and decide photo by photo. Everything can be undone.

Empty

Check the trash, empty it, done. iOS asks once, keeps the photos 30 days in “Recently Deleted”, and the space is free.

Privacy in one sentence

No account, no advertising, no server of ours. Your photos leave the iPhone only when you send or search them yourself. Read the privacy policy

Frequently asked questions

Is Photo On free?

Yes. Photo On is free, without ads and without an account.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Photo On has no server. Finding duplicates and similar photos happens on the iPhone. Only when you tap Send or “Search the web” do exactly those photos go to the destination you chose.

Can Photo On delete photos by itself?

No. Swiping left only puts a photo into the app's trash. Nothing is deleted until you empty the trash; then iOS asks once and keeps the photos for 30 days in “Recently Deleted”.

Does it work with iCloud Photos?

Yes. Photo On works on Apple's photo library, so albums, folders and deletions behave exactly as in the Photos app and sync the same way. Space you free up in the library is freed in iCloud too.

How do I send photos from my iPhone to an Android phone or a Windows PC?

Choose Send › Android, Windows, others. Both devices have to be in the same Wi‑Fi, or the other device joins your Personal Hotspot. Then open the shown address in any browser and download the photos directly from the iPhone. No app, no cable, no cloud.

Which iPhones does it support?

Every iPhone with iOS 17 or later.

Which languages?

46 languages, among them English, German, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Urdu, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
